Classics showcased at Lebanon Elks cruise 


The smell of barbecue burgers, the sound of live music and view of classic cars steadily filled the Lebanon Elks Lodge parking lot after the Strawberry Festival Grande Parade on June 7, giving more than 500 visitors the chance to indulge all of their senses.
While helping to raise money for Lebanon High School, the Casey Eye Institute and the Lebanon Skate Park, attendees could roam around the Park Street property for hours to take everything in.
Of the 44 classic vehicles on display, including four custom motorcycles, only five could come away with car show trophies from the Elks’ second annual car show.
Don and Robin Pyle’s 1941 Willys coupe was voted the best of them all, however, taking theBest in Show award.
Other winners include: Best motorcycle: Mark Elder; Best truck: Ken McMackin, 1956 Ford pickup; Best car: Tony Bitterman, 1969 Chevelle SS; Judges’ choice: Dave Surmon, 1951 Surburban; and Best of Show: Don and Robin Pyle, 1941 Willys coupe.
